I started this piece today in hopes of finishing it for a show this weekend. I'm working on loosening up and pushing the color more. I'm hoping to do several of these everyday faces and put them together for a show.
I was working on this piece for a client when I stepped back and had that moment of excitement as I watched blank canvas start to take on dimension. It has been wonderful to change from months of landscape to figure and face. There is something so intriguing about peoples faces- I find myself constantly reading them wherever I am.
